How to Raise a Complaint

Homeowner showing a damp basement wall to a mold provider in Hammonton

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who contacts Forgotdescription Mold Help to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.

What You Can Raise

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Forgotdescription Mold Help
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that looks unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

Problems With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, prices, test results, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work in your home, start with the provider. Keep a written record of what you say and what they reply.

Still tell us. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest. Providers who keep falling short of our expectations may be removed. Know this, though: Forgotdescription Mold Help cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.

How to File

Email contact@forgotdescription.garden and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want

After You Write

We acknowledge your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We look into what happened. That may include contacting the provider. Then we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Unhappy?

If our reply does not settle it, answer the email and ask us to look again. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. If your state licenses mold assessors or remediators, the licensing agency may be able to help too.
