What Forgotdescription Mold Help Is

Forgotdescription Mold Help is a referral service. We help homeowners find independent local providers for mold inspection, testing and remediation. That is the whole job.

We do not inspect. We do not test. We do not remove mold. Providers in our network do that work.

Why This Site Exists

Mold feels urgent and confusing. People do not know who to call. They also do not know what to have ready.

So we do two things. We point you to local providers. And we push you to get your paperwork in order first.

Paperwork Comes First

Photos before cleanup. That is our main advice. Take wide shots and close shots. Write down dates. Note where the water came from and what you saw.

Clear records help in two ways. Providers can give sharper estimates. And any insurance conversation gets easier. Some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How Providers Are Matched

You tell us what is going on. You pick a service: remediation, inspection and testing, or black mold removal. We route your request to a provider in our network that serves your area.

Availability varies. Many providers can respond quickly, but we cannot promise timing. Request a callback to check provider availability.

What We Expect From Providers

We ask providers to be straight with homeowners. That means:

  • Hold the licenses your local rules require
  • Explain the scope of work in plain words
  • Give a written quote
  • Answer questions about testing and containment
  • Treat your home with care

We cannot check every job. You should still ask for proof of any license or insurance you care about.

What We Do Not Do

We do not set prices. We do not do the work. We do not make promises for providers. We do not decide what your insurer will pay.

Typical U.S. costs vary a lot by job size, access and materials. Get it in writing before work starts.

How We Are Paid

Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when a homeowner is connected. You pay nothing to us for the referral. Your agreement, and your payment, is with the provider.

Local Weather, Local Timing

Cold winters, freeze-thaw cycles, spring snowmelt and coastal storms all feed damp problems. Older homes and stone or block basements can make it worse. Stop the water first. Then deal with the mold.

Get Connected

Gather your photos and notes. Then ask for an estimate. A provider will take it from there.
